I am blessed to say that I was born and raised in the beautiful beach community of Destin, FL. My family has always been involved in real estate and it was not until recently that I realized that my career path would bring me back here. I have always had an adventuresome spirit and curious nature, so I was anxious to step out of my small hometown and experience city life. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Studio Art, having a focus on photography, and a minor in Business Marketing, I made a move to Chicago, IL. After a couple of years of being an “artist” I fell into the fashion industry. Once I felt I had met my full potential in Chicago, I moved to New York City with a drive to make it. I worked at an apparel showroom and handled sales for contemporary designers along the East Coast. Manhattan was my home base but I was able to travel along the East Coast to work with buyers of specialty boutiques and department stores. I managed nearly 200 accounts and soon realized that sales were a speciatly of my own. New York is an incredible place to live, learn and grow as an individual but it can also be a very demanding environment.
In 2011, during the fashion industry’s slow season, I came back to sunny Florida for a few of the summer months to recharge. I fell in love with the area again and truly appreciated the beauty that surrounded me. The white sandy beaches, emerald green water, great weather, nice people, and overall calmness of the area brought me back. I am happy to make a new life here where I can have a better quality of living and be near my family.
My previous work experience taught me how to be aggressive, build relationships, maintain integrity, and work hard. I can now apply my skills to real estate sales. I am the listing coordinator for the Nathan Abbott Team and also handle the marketing and condo photography. I am thankful for this opportunity and look forward to helping people find their dream home or perfect vacation getaway. I am passionate about what I am doing and hope that you can feel my excitement and positive energy about the beautiful Emerald Coast I now call home again.
